Horizon Club is a 24-hour drop in center for individuals without homes, operated by
DD Resources. Horizon Club offers membership and guest services to people without homes, especially those with developmental disabilities. Horizon Club provides individuals without homes access to laundry facilities, showers, and storage lockers. This center is a safe place to spend time relaxing or in quiet recreation with features such as computer games, internet access, and satellite television.
While the Horizon Club is not a shelter nor does it have beds, a limited number of transitional housing apartments are available off site for qualified members. For questions regarding Transitional Housing contact the Transitional Housing Coordinator at or (314) 421-0090.
The Horizon Club serves as a center for information about available community services. Visiting agencies offer information on housing, transportation, employment, food, clothing, long-term case management, medical, dental, and other services.
Members have a voice in how the Club operates. Membership meetings provide an opportunity to communicate concerns and ideas for improvement.
Donations are welcomed! Items most needed include SOCKS & UNDERWEAR (adult sizes), travel size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.), sewing kits, dental hygiene needs (toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, etc.), first aid supplies, and individual servings of prepackaged food. Their primary wish list items are socks and underwear.
For more information, contact Erika Donaldson, Director of Horizon Club.
