This program provides opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities, ages 18 years and older, to access adventure experiences (typically a 2-4 day overnight experience). Through these experiences individuals can acquire and maintain independent living, social, leisure and community navigation skills. Additionally, participants can learn skills such as money management, transportation planning, personal care, socialization, and other necessary skills to access community and live in their homes.

Through this project, individuals with developmental disabilities and/or their family members can hire an individual to address the participant's personal care needs while involved in an organized community-based and inclusive recreation program.
